Louis Poulsen Lighting Receives AIA Award

For the first time in the history of the AIA’s Honors in Collaborative Achievement Award, presented by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a lighting company has won.

The award honors the achievements of professionals, companies and organizations working in the field of architecture whose contributions have benefited the advancement of the architectural profession.

Louis Poulsen Lighting is one of the few luminaire design and manufacturing companies to have established itself through collaboration with architects over more than 100 years. Founded in Copenhagen in 1874 as an electrical supplies company, it has grown into a business that designs and produces many of the most beautiful and functional luminaires ever created.
