SPECIAL AWARD FROM VAKALO ART & DESIGN COLLEGE
A €1,000 scholarship for courses
in the college’s undergraduate programme
Vakalo Art & Design College, with the aim of nurturing creativity and advancing education in the applied arts (design), is offering a scholarship covering one of the 45 courses in its three-year undergraduate programme, with specialisations in Graphic Design or Interior Architecture, as free tuition worth €1,000, which cannot be exchanged for a cash sum.
The scholarship will be awarded to the first-prize winner of the competition “Designing the Ideal Kindergarten”, organised by the Hellenic Union of Decorators, following the decision of the jury.
The programme is validated by the University of Derby, a British state university, and leads to the award of a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Graphic Design or a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interior Design by that university.
The winner chooses the course in consultation with the college’s administrators. Alternatively, the value of the scholarship can be applied to other programmes at the college, as a discount on those programmes.
DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR THE STUDENT COMPETITION
UNTIL 10 MAY 2015
The deadline for the STUDENT COMPETITION 2015, on the theme “Designing the Ideal Kindergarten”, has been extended to 10 May,
in recognition of students’ heavy workload during the exam period.
The competition is open to design students in Greece and Cyprus and focuses on the principles of WORK. RESEARCH. MOBILITY. INNOVATION. SOLUTIONS.
The aim of the competition is to showcase and support students as creators
and to promote their work, helping them gain experience
through original creations that can stand up at an international level.
