Design Lab @ Thessaloniki

The contemporary Applied Creativity Workshop comes to Thessaloniki for the 2nd time, 1-2/10/2011.

Design Lab @ Thessaloniki

Following a successful first edition, both in the number and the mix of visitors, Design Lab is moving to make its presence in Northern Greece a permanent fixture!

On 1 & 2 October, Design Lab@Thessaloniki will take place in Warehouse C on Pier 1 of the Thessaloniki Port Authority, an atmospheric industrial space with a long association with innovation, art and culture.

On the one hand, the 2nd Design Lab@Thessaloniki offers architects, interior decorators and manufacturers (as well as end users and professionals) another opportunity

• to come into contact with the latest trends in the key components of design (materials, furniture and design objects, and architectural design),

to build new business relationships and contacts with companies that distribute innovative products in the above sectors,

to discover Design Lab’s pioneering concept for showcasing companies and products,

to take part in a lively, creative dialogue between designers, materials and their end recipients,

while at the same time giving companies active in the design field (as manufacturers, representatives, consultants or dealers) the chance to meet the most dynamic and creative segment of their potential partners in Northern Greece.

Design Lab@Thessaloniki is a step of major importance towards further developing a creative dialogue between designers, materials and their end recipients. It is an effort to bring ever larger parts of the design sector, as well as of the supply market, into this dialogue.

The organisers’ ambition, once again, is for most of the companies in materials, furniture and design objects that want to expand or underline their business presence in Northern Greece (and the Balkans) to find a place in it.
