A distinctly Italian atmosphere pervades the “Trattoria Capanna” restaurant, on the corner of Ploutarchou and Charitos streets in Kolonaki.
The Greek interior design team K Studio used materials and colours that achieve an understated elegance, in a discreet, warm setting reminiscent of an “Italian courtyard”.
Old window shutters clad sections of the restaurant’s walls and, together with the murals by the artist Joanna Burtenshaw and the cement tiles and travertine, form the “canvas” onto which touches such as vintage chairs and tables have been added, successfully conveying the concept of a Mediterranean courtyard.
