The Dutch architecture firm Tjep has taken the idea of train compartments and applied it first at the Fabbrica restaurant in Rotterdam, and then in the city of Bergen.
The design of the Fabbrica space also features other elegant rustic and retro touches. “People want more authenticity,” acknowledge the designers of this distinctive venue. The décor, with its stacked logs, exposed wiring and electrical elements, and vintage wallpaper, combines with these charming booths and their beautiful chandeliers to create a warm, distinctive environment.
