Plus One Berlin

Vintage and modern styles come together in a new "hospitality" concept in the city of Berlin.

Plus One Berlin

Plus One Berlin is a new hospitality “model” for tourists visiting Berlin.

Located in the “in”, up-and-coming district of Kreuzkölln, it was designed by two local architects, Paola Bagna (Spamroom) and JP Coss (CossA). The space can accommodate 1 to 3 people, and its interior is an interesting blend of vintage and modern decor, combined with recycled furniture and materials.

The feel of wood, along with the salvaged, recycled timber used in the kitchen and storage areas, brings warmth to the space.

The decorative objects are modern and understated, flirting with an industrial look.

The space is bright, with white dominating the walls and neutral shades throughout, while a few touches of colour on the cushions add a lively accent.

As for the Plus One concept, it works like this: when you book the room, you gain access to a website where you can browse the profiles of 28 locals with different interests, lifestyles and professions. From there, you can choose the person who suits you best and meet them for a drink, or ask for advice on the places worth seeing, the “must-visit” shops and so on, so that they become your “plus one” for 3 to 5 hours during your stay in Berlin and let you experience the city like a “local”.
