The Mandarin Oriental Hotel stands in enchanting Barcelona, one of the most beautiful and architecturally interesting destinations, and its distinctive design confirms the Catalan capital’s reputation.
Designed by the award-winning Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola, the hotel’s interior is undoubtedly a special “experience” for its guests.

You will find the hotel in the heart of the city, on the famous Passeig de Gràcia, one of its busiest shopping and “entertainment” districts.
The building’s exterior gives no hint of what awaits visitors as they enter through the atrium and cross the bridge into the hotel lobby.

The striking interior décor is not at all alienating; on the contrary, it creates the feeling of a comfortable, welcoming space. Past the lobby, you arrive at Blanc, a restaurant that is by general consensus unique and has won a Hotel Design Award.
The space is double the height of the others and has a glass ceiling. Its white and grey tones give the restaurant a sense of calm and purity. Eye-catching decorative features include the metal panels that frame the space; playing with the light, they make the large hall warmer and more intimate. Italian and Spanish furniture completes the puzzle of the restaurant’s distinctive décor, blending harmoniously into this singular design ensemble.

The hotel has 98 rooms, a 236 sq m luxury suite occupying the entire 8th floor, a 1,000 sq m spa, restaurants and a rooftop pool with panoramic views, while its courtyard covers 650 square metres.
