Hotel Château Bethlehem in Maastricht, the Netherlands, is a fully operating hotel located on the university campus, where students of hospitality management gain hands-on experience. The hotel’s interiors have been designed by leading designers such as Studio Job, Richard Hutten, Stars Design and Piet Hein Eek.
The aim in creating the hotel was to shape a unique environment that would serve as a source of inspiration as well as a state-of-the-art setting for students’ practical training. The hotel environment was meant to allow the university not only to incorporate the latest trends and developments into its curriculum, but also to motivate students to seek out innovation and to expose them to a way of thinking shaped by design and concept stimuli, even before they begin their careers.

The hotel seeks to “introduce” a new concept in hospitality services, and has brought together sponsors of furniture and furnishing products with innovative, daring designers.
Rooms cost from €75 up to €110 for a suite! (last updated September 2011).
