Gazi College is a tasteful all-day venue with a style all its own, one that puts you in the mood to relax amid the décor of bookcases and school blackboards, watching the constant activity at the food bar on one side and the passers-by on Persefonis Street on the other!
It is a truly warm space, with a traditional wooden ceiling, that makes you feel at home from the moment you first walk in.

Giorgos Gavalas and Giannis Mourikis (architects and set designers), who were responsible for the interior design and layout of the space, paid attention to every detail, putting together a unique jigsaw of objects that bring back fond images of the past.
The shelves on the bar side hold neatly arranged tins, glass jars full of pulses, bottles, small boxes and cans in their recesses, giving the impression of a traditional grocery store!

On the side where the bookcase rises imposingly, a “communal table” mixes groups of friends together and encourages new acquaintances.
The choice of decorative elements is striking: makeshift lamps made from oilcloth, small tables made from tree stumps, and various other details such as the calendar placemats and the printed Gazi College bottle of filtered water that arrived at our table.
The jazz and funk rhythms of the music suit the atmosphere of the space perfectly, while the dishes on the menu are carefully prepared and nicely presented and, judging by the crêpes we tried, delicious!

At Gazi College you can enjoy your daily coffee with a tempting sweet, take a lunch break, or end up there after a night out for some mouth-watering … street food!
It is open every day from 8 in the morning until late at night, while on Friday and Saturday it stays open 24 hours and turns into an all-…night… food bar!
