If you love flowers and decorate your home with a beautiful bouquet at every opportunity, we have found an alternative idea that will add a different touch to your space: the “artful Asparagus” project by Karin Lidbeck from your cozy home.
You will need a beautiful bunch of flowers, a mug-sized tin can, a rubber band and some asparagus spears.
The steps are simple:
Trim the base of the asparagus so the spears stand 2-3 cm taller than the can.
Put the rubber band around the can.
Slip the asparagus spears under the rubber band one by one, creating a green “fence” around the can.
To finish, hide the rubber band with a green ribbon.
Add water and your bouquet to your new vase, and you’re done!
The asparagus will keep for at least a week!
