Cafe KAFKA in Barcelona

An intimate, welcoming, bohemian space that makes you feel right at home.

Cafe KAFKA in Barcelona

The El Born (La Ribera) neighbourhood of Barcelona is a small “village” that has kept its authentic character and its ties to its Gothic past. Often compared to SoHo in New York and Le Marais in Paris, the area is home to artists, violin makers, glassmakers and so on.

This is where you will find the cosmopolitan bistro Cafe Kafka, a bohemian space, intimate and welcoming, that makes you feel at home and attracts locals and tourists alike.

Yolanda Vilalta and Helena Jauma took their inspiration from two old tables that were in the space before the renovation. The design respects the structure, history and tradition of the building, while also bringing a breath of fresh air to the neighbourhood.

The décor is refined, a blend of styles, colours and materials: mismatched seating, fabrics, light fittings and decorative accessories make Cafe Kafka a distinctive bistro that is well worth a visit if you find yourself in Barcelona, Spain.
