At first glance, the idea we came across on treehugger.com seems paradoxical. Why would someone who clearly loves the modern, minimalist style of Apple products want an exuberant, vintage dock for their iPhone?
Still, the different and the original always make an impression, so we decided that this particular proposal is bound to appeal to some vintage lover out there!

Rich and Brenna Neeley have created their own distinctive iPhone docks from old books for charging the device. Most of their products are made from old, second-hand books, and some from new books in a vintage style.
In this way, the Neeleys reuse old books that are no longer of any interest and simply sit stacked on a bookshelf, and sell them in their own Etsy shop for $50-60.
