Following close collaboration between experienced lighting designers and a highly skilled software development team, DIAL GmbH has created a brand-new and completely redesigned lighting design software. The new software is called DIALux evo, and it will be officially presented at the Light+Building lighting fair in Frankfurt.
For the time being the program is in its beta phase and is being used by only a handful of users, so that any problems that arise during use can be found and fixed. At first, DIALux evo will not include all the features and capabilities of its predecessor (DIALux 4.10), but more and more functions will be added over time.

Some of the most important improvements in evo are:
A much friendlier and easier-to-use user interface
A different, completely refreshed look
Better photorealistic rendering and visualisation with the same renderer (raytrace), which is its strong point.
Creation of buildings from 2D drawings and floor plans.
No difference between designing an exterior scene and an interior one.
Photometric results can be displayed in three dimensions within the space.
Flashlight.gr will be at the international fair in Frankfurt and will cover all the latest developments in lighting software as well.
