Dots are cute and playful, but it’s true that polka dots are not a common choice for large surfaces such as walls.
If you like to be different and aren’t afraid to take a risk, though, you can try something original and use them to add colour and life to a wall of your choice.

Polka dot patterns can be dominant, or more discreet and sophisticated in how they are applied. They can create strong colour contrasts or look like small touches of colour.

One room where polka dot patterns work especially well is the nursery or child’s bedroom.

An easy alternative is to use polka dot wall stickers!

And if you don’t want to paint the wall with polka dot motifs, you can choose them in a painting or other artwork that you hang on your wall.
