In a renovated castle at the foot of the Bavarian Forest, artist and designer Aylin Langreuter has achieved a distinctive blend of old and new, along with a fairytale atmosphere.
One small but interesting touch that contributed to this result is the creation of decorative wall features centred on the interior door.
Instead of hanging a painting as wall decor, Aylin used colourful wooden beams and cleverly arranged them in patterns around the interior door frame, reminiscent of the rays of the sun.
Simple? Yes. Distinctive? Very. Versatile? Why not!
