A bookcase is a functional piece of furniture that provides storage for our favourite books, but it also works as a display point, a “showcase” for the decorative objects that express who we are.
In most cases, what makes a bookcase interesting is the objects and contents we place on it. In others, the design is so distinctive that the piece commands the space it stands in through sheer personality.
To prove the point, we have found and are presenting 5 original bookcases that go well beyond the role of mere shelving!
1) Billys Brother by ADDI
2) Valiero bookcase by Franco Albini
3) 3D bookcase by OMC Design Studio
4) “Archive Series” by David Garcia
5) Bookwave by Mehtap Obuz
We’ll be back soon with more original bookcases!
