Blue is one of the colours that dominate nature, and among its properties is the power both to invigorate and to calm. It is therefore a good choice if you want to reduce tension in your space.
It’s true that no colour expresses calm, serenity and carefree ease quite like the “right” blue on your walls. The choice of shade comes down to personal taste, but opting for softer tones with a touch of grey will certainly pay off.

If you aren’t ready for such a dramatic change to your walls, choosing textiles to cover smaller surfaces is the most suitable solution. Throws, cushions and rugs will wrap every room in a light “cloud” of relaxing blue.

Finally, even accessories can add the desired note, but to really feel calm flood the space, take the risk of using blue on as many surfaces as possible. Even in your kitchen…
