How to Organize Stuffed Toys in a Child’s Room

If they no longer fit in the toy baskets, one idea is to find clever storage solutions that also work as decorative features in the room.

Place them on attractive cylindrical wooden shelves…

Hang them in a makeshift “hammock”…

Use decorative metal baskets / outdoor baskets on the wall…

Make an “ark” out of cardboard…

Make a hanging swing… (see here for how to build it)

Use a hanging fabric shoe organizer and decorate with the toys to make hanging shelves.

For extra color, hang the shelves from brightly colored fabric ribbons. Choose fabrics that match the rest of the room’s décor.

Build a wooden structure… a zoo, or buy one here.
