Think of spring, light, nature, colour. Now imagine what it would be like if you could bring them into your own space. Like the idea? Then it may be worth experimenting with floral wallpapers in your decor!
Flower patterns evoke a romantic, vintage mood.
And beyond the “scents” they bring to mind, they also have a feminine touch. It is no coincidence, after all, that they are most often found in the bedroom. But that shouldn’t be seen as a limit on using them in other spaces too.
In their more modern versions, floral designs break away from the romantic associations that had established them in more classic decorating styles. They take on a bolder look, work as a focal point, create dramatic contrasts and serve as a source of colour.
Seen this way, floral motifs on a wallpaper can be an interesting choice for giving your space a distinctive, striking character.
That doesn’t mean, of course, that they can’t be the ideal choice for those with more “classic” tastes, for a discreet, refined décor.
It’s all a matter of choice …and execution!
