Easter Sunday is a chance to get together with friends and family. To create a festive mood and make the Easter table look beautiful, the place that will host us and our loved ones, we can use decorative items and materials we already have at home to give the space a different “note”, even if we haven’t bought any Easter decorations.
Here are some ideas we’ve gathered for decorating the Easter table, which can come to the rescue even of those who are the least prepared!
– Use egg cartons from your kitchen, eggshells and fresh flowers to create original arrangements for the table.

– Alternatively, fill egg cartons with colourful jelly beans and with daisies or other flowers from your balcony, to bring colour and natural beauty to the table of your loved ones.

– Take your shot glasses out of the cupboard, place a daisy head in each (after removing the stem), carefully set a tealight in the centre of it, and create a floral, atmospheric setting for every guest at the table.

– Fill large glass bowls and jars with chocolate eggs and place them in the centre of the table to add colour and build a sweet anticipation for the end of the Easter meal.

– Place a simple candle in a large glass jar, dress it with fresh flowers, and create an atmospheric focal point at the heart of the Easter meal.

– Improvise with “alternative” vases, such as a metal watering can, and fill it with flowers to flood the table with colour and the scents of nature.

– Put a few decorative branches in a large vase and hang a few subtle spring and Easter ornaments from them. You can find many of these by reusing and recycling old Easter decorations you have in your cupboards.

Or why not decorate them with ornaments you can make yourself from fabric or felt! See how… here purlbee.com & here countryliving.com!
– Dress the napkins you set at your guests’ places with ribbons and flowers, or why not with paper Easter place cards that you can make yourself, even marking where each person sits at the table.
