Using plates as decorative elements is not a new trend in interior decoration.
Those of us who are older will certainly remember the decorative plates in our parents’ homes, porcelain or otherwise, adorning a display cabinet or sideboard, standing on their special stands, or hung on the wall.
In more modern homes, their use for this purpose had become relatively rare. Today, however, as with many of the “fashions” of the past, decorating walls with plates has come full circle and is returning, refined and with a fresh approach, to claim its place throughout the home.

What has changed? First of all, they are now used in a more “free” and flexible way, as the decorating trend now “blesses” compositions of wall-mounted plates in all kinds of arrangements and forms, with plates of different styles, shapes and colors, and with plenty of different “themes”.

How can you display them on the wall?
• In a diamond pattern, in horizontal or vertical lines, or in free-form arrangements, with your own creativity and inspiration as the only limit.

Tip!
When you plan a wall display of plates, don’t limit yourself to round ones! Play with combinations of shapes and sizes to achieve a striking result.
