The Sorapot teapot by designer Joey Roth turns the preparation of tea into a ritual.
Unlike other common teapots, which ‘confine’ the tea leaves in a metal mesh basket, the Sorapot lets the leaves unfurl freely in the water, in full view, as they turn hot water into tea!
Inside the transparent base, a play of shadows unfolds as the water takes on colour and the unique aroma of the tea is released.
The ‘architectural’ form and the functionality are part of the distinctive, modern design of the Sorapot teapot. It is made of 304 stainless steel, heat-resistant glass and silicone, and is available with a glossy or matte finish.
