Using the latest technology in timber and glass, the American company MARS LAB presents a modern and unique garden retreat, the G-POD.
This small space can serve as an outdoor dining room, a lounge or an office, or simply as your own personal oasis in the garden of your home. If you want to sleep there, the table lowers to form a large bed, and if the sun bothers you, all you have to do is rotate the pod to a different position.
The upper and lower exterior parts of the G-POD are protected by stainless steel, which acts as a reflective surface to stop the structure from overheating.
Even if there is no power supply where the pod is placed, a 20 watt, 12 volt solar panel can meet a few basic needs.
The G-POD is produced in three versions for different uses, with different dimensions and equipment. The manufacturers’ aim is for you to feel that you are still in the garden when you are inside, which they have achieved with the full panoramic views offered by the windows around the pod.
