The decorative wooden “Split (Cleft) panels” are the brainchild of designer Klaus Wangen. They are a wall decoration proposal that gives a space a natural look & feel, seen from a distinctly contemporary perspective.
They suit residential spaces such as the living room, the dining room or the entrance hall, as well as commercial spaces. The decorative panels are available in alternative designs and different finishes, all of which nevertheless achieve a distinctive result. On the one hand, the wood creates a strongly rustic feel; on the other, the design of the panels has elements of a modern, if not industrial, style.
The panels are made from beech and linden wood, which has been specially treated and waxed, polished and so on. Interestingly, this material also affects the acoustics of the space in which it is installed.
