The bowls and other tableware from “Natural Selection Studio” are exactly what the name of their makers suggests: authentic products with a strong element of nature.
The collection consists of colourful wooden bowls with a rustic beauty and indefinite forms that recall the shapes we encounter in the natural landscape.
Greg Gallegos carves and shapes pieces of wood found in the wider Michigan area. Each piece in the collection resembles a small wooden sculpture, and their imperfections are what make them distinctive.
You can learn the story of each individual piece on naturalselectionstudio.com, or buy them through etsy.com from the Natural Studio Selection shop.
