“Attrattivo, wishing to improve the image of its women’s clothing and accessories brand positive, commissioned our company (Konstantakis Bros Praxis Construction O.E.) to create a pilot store. The aim was, on the one hand, to reach its target customers more effectively and, on the other, to provide a model (concept store) for the company’s future steps.

Based on this philosophy, the store in Ilion was designed around the brand’s target group: the independent working woman, who wants the space she lives in to bear her personal stamp.

This concept store is a single 105 m2 space with the character of a distinctive home, such as a loft. Its walls are clad irregularly in exposed brick, and artificially aged iron water pipes “run” around the perimeter, forming an original network of shelves and hanging rails for displaying the clothes and accessories. The use of wood in its natural colour on the floor, the shelves and the cashier’s desk gives the space a “familiar” warmth.

The store’s distinctive design is further enhanced by the original metal entrance door, which pivots on its horizontal axis and measures 1.80 x 3.40 m, by the baroque elements found in the fitting-room wallpapers and in the furniture, by the theatrical lighting, and by the relief ceiling made of repeating geometric motifs that form a suspended cluster of icebergs.”
