MINETTA PROJECT

Lighting to showcase the building of the insurance company MINETTA, by DIATHLASIS

MINETTA PROJECT

Lighting the building of the insurance company MINETTA was a challenge for the Diathlasis design team. The approach had to bring out the structural elements and the minimal character of the building, emphasise its restrained architectural forms and, at the same time, underline the name, the standing, the development and the future goals of a company like MINETTA.

These elements, combined with the philosophy of the people at Diathlasis, produced this aesthetic result. A decisive factor in the choice of luminaires, besides quality and reliability, was energy saving.

The following luminaires were used in the project:

a) to highlight and define the perimeter volumes and the horizontal surfaces, Light Up Walk professional in-ground luminaires and Platea exterior luminaires from iGuzzini,

b) to accentuate the sun-shading louvres, the Woody luminaire from iGuzzini with a halogen lamp and a narrow-beam reflector,

c) to bring out the architectural outline of the façade volume with its ETAL – BOND cladding, cold cathode lamps from Antrox,

d) in the areas around the building, and for circulation lighting and lighting the approach to the entrance, Kriss luminaires from iGuzzini and in-ground LED luminaires from the specialist company Lec Lyon.
