“Tria” Chairs by Cole

The “Tria” is an elegant, minimalist chair design conceived by the German design duo Catharina Lorenz and Steffen Kaz for the Italian furniture company Cole.

According to the designers, “Tria is a chair that recalls the forms of the Dutch artist M.C. Escher, defining its identity as a game of twists and leaks.”

Three identical elements are assembled together, creating a continuous flow of colors that seem to chase one another.

The chairs can be used in 2 different positions at the table: either at the head or at the side.

The seat shell is available in natural oak, black-stained oak or, finally, in 3 colored versions.

The legs of the “Tria” can be made of chrome-plated metal, in which case the chairs are stackable, or alternatively of natural or black-stained oak.
