Liana Anastasiadou and Sofianos Papageorgiou are industrial designers from Thessaloniki.
They live and work together as Shiny Design, taking on freelance commissions involving design applications while also making their own objects.
Liana began her career in an architectural office, then worked as a designer in a furniture factory and as import and sales manager at a contract furniture company.
She now makes objects and paintings, guided by a philosophy of reuse.
Sofianos is a production manager at an advertising company. He specialises in furniture design and construction and takes on architectural projects.
Together they created “object”, a space in the centre of Thessaloniki where they exhibit their own work as well as pieces by other artists.
