The ongoing boom in social networking means we are in closer contact with our friends and acquaintances whenever we are online: we follow their likes and interests, browse their photo albums and profile pictures, and get a virtual sense of being part of a big group. But what happens when we go offline?

To make the most of this unprecedented surge, socialprintstudio.com came up with the idea of turning the photographic material available on social networking websites into posters, stickers or even photo albums. This includes the profile pictures our “friends” or fans post on their Facebook or Twitter pages, our own Facebook photo albums, and so on.

Recently, in collaboration with the portal mashable.com, social print studio created the world’s largest “real-life Facebook wall”, which was put up at the company’s offices to honor its 312,638 Facebook fans.

In much the same way, this original service could help you decorate a wall in your room, turning it into an analog album equivalent to your Facebook one, so that you keep your friends “close” even when your PC is switched off.
