The first outdoor furniture collection from the Dutch company Blofield is aimed, we could say, at lovers of the now-classic Chesterfield sofa.
At the same time, it is sure to appeal to those who follow the more contemporary, alternative and “fun” approaches to furniture design for indoor and outdoor spaces.
The collection was designed by the Dutch designer Jeroen van de Kant and consists of an armchair, the Big Blo 1, a two-seater sofa, the Big Blo 2, and the Baby Blo, a smaller armchair for children.
The Βlofield products are made of durable, waterproof PVC with a protective nylon base, so they can withstand bad weather.
They can be easily carried or stored in a practical bag, and inflate in about 5 minutes using the electric pump supplied in the package.
In 2009 the collection won the Red Dot Design Award, and in 2010 the Good Design Award.
