Original “A hole in the floor” shelves

The collaboration between designers Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay led to the founding of Raw Edges, a design studio with a clever and authentic product portfolio.

One of their projects is “Hole in the Floor”, a series of freestanding floor shelving units based on the idea of an “unexpected ending” for objects.

The unusual shelves look like upright drawers that have literally been cut diagonally at the base, giving the impression that there is a hole in the floor from which they spring.

It is an original design that stands out for its elegance and can suit every style of space, modern and classic alike.

The shelves are available in various sizes. The price is not listed on the website, but you can contact the studio here.
