design district continues its presentations of the new designers who took part in the new designers section of the go design exhibition, held from 12 to 14 March 2011.
This is part 3 of a series of interviews that the new designers gave to Mr Koutsantonakis, organisation & communications manager of go design.
In the video you can watch presentations of:
• a collaborative project by Dimitris Morakis and Angeliki Tsoupra from the University of the Aegean, who present one of the objects that caught the eye during the exhibition. It is a smart, multifunctional entrance hanger that works as a mirror, a practical notice board and a storage space for small items – such as keys, glasses and mobile phones – and more besides (it can even serve as a spot for a hat or a motorcycle helmet)!
• an individual project by Dimitris Morakis, who, continuing in the vein of multifunctional design, created a coat stand with a shelf – an interesting solution for the home and the office, as it can be used as a hanger, a shelf and a storage space for magazines, newspapers and documents.
