Wood has always been a first choice for making furniture. It is a natural material we know intimately, and it is always welcome in the spaces we live in. For us it is a link to authenticity and simplicity, and when combined with other, man-made materials it “gives” us a wide variety of functional objects and works of art.
Almost all furniture designers have, from very early on, drawn inspiration from the beauty and plasticity of wood and the “strong” combinations it allows, creating beautiful, distinctive pieces that have remained, or will remain, “classics” with the passing of time.
From the vast range of furniture of this kind, we have selected a few wood and glass coffee tables by various designers. They are well worth getting to know and admiring, and their unique design is a source of inspiration.
