The Japanese studio Torafu Architects has designed a modular wooden bowl that can be split into 2 parts and turned into a clever, practical shelf for wall corners.

This is the “Catch-bowl”, designed to make functional use of the corners that inevitably exist in the walls of every home.
When 1/4 is removed from the hemisphere of the “Catch-bowl”, the remaining 3/4 can be fitted into any wall corner.

Building on this idea, the team created this playful, lightweight shelf, where you can place objects even inside the bowl itself.
