Architect Oriano Favaretto took his inspiration from the delicate silhouettes of flowers, lilies in particular, to create a complete bathroom collection for the Italian company Mastella Design.
With its restrained lines and balanced proportions, the collection evokes something of the harmony of nature. In a city apartment, it brings us closer to nature, if only in our imagination; in a country house, it harmonises the interior with the surrounding landscape.
The collection keeps the white of the lily and pairs it with a timber floor. Its elements include a freestanding bathtub, with the shape of a lily clearly discernible in its design, and washbasins with a similarly sculpted base.
The taps and the shower are also white, following the delicate form of the whole, and their shape gives the illusion of a drop of water.
